By accessing or using MapaPhoto, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

2. Use of the website

• Personal, non-commercial use only
• No misuse or disruption of the service
• No scraping, automated access, or reverse engineering

3. No accounts or guarantees

MapaPhoto does not require user accounts and does not guarantee the persistence of scores, streaks, or progress, which are stored locally in your browser. Clearing browser data or using a different device may reset progress.

4. Intellectual property

All content on MapaPhoto, including but not limited to photographs, images, text, game design, software code, graphics, branding, and trademarks, is owned by MapaPhoto or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

Except where explicitly permitted, no content from the website may be copied, reproduced, modified, distributed, publicly displayed, or used for any purpose outside of normal gameplay without prior written permission.

5. Licensed photography and image use

MapaPhoto displays photographs that are protected by copyright and are used under licence from photographers, image libraries, or other rights holders.

These photographs are made available solely for the purpose of playing the MapaPhoto game and for no other use.

Users may not:

• Download, copy, extract, or save photographs from the website
• Reproduce or redistribute photographs in any form
• Use photographs for commercial purposes
• Use photographs for training artificial intelligence or machine learning models
• Remove watermarks, metadata, or attribution information
• Circumvent technical or access controls used to protect image content

All rights in the photographs remain with the original rights holders. No ownership or licence is granted to users beyond viewing the images as part of gameplay.

6. Third-party services

MapaPhoto uses third-party services including map providers, analytics services, and advertising partners. We are not responsible for the availability or policies of third-party services.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MapaPhoto is not liable for any loss of data, scores, progress, or indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the site. Use of the site is at your own risk.

8. Enforcement

We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access to the website where we reasonably believe these Terms, including intellectual property protections, have been violated.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
